May the innocence of a child never falter no matter the surroundings of the world.

as i lay me down to sleep
i hear the tears of those who weep

wondering what will be my fate
in this life of dreadful hate

i wish i may wish i might
gain the strength to fight this fight

fields of daisies growing grim
as the lights begin to dim

hush little baby don't you cry
make you falter---oh they'll try

innocent and sweet is what you are
in this world near or far
